A Note From
Leadership Stockton Class of 2026

As our year together comes to a close, we want to say one thing above all else:

Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraisers, attended our events, shared their expertise, challenged our perspectives, welcomed us into their organizations, and invested in our growth throughout this journey.

Over the past year, we have explored every corner of our community, met incredible people, and learned firsthand that leadership comes in many forms. We met individuals who dedicate their lives to serving others, solving problems, building businesses, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating opportunities for future generations. Every conversation left us with a new lesson, a new perspective, or a new appreciation for the community we call home.

As a class, we committed ourselves to accountability, humility, communal grace, and growth. We learned to listen before responding, to support one another through challenges, and to embrace the discomfort that often comes with personal and professional growth.

But there is one value that may have defined us more than any other:

WE ARE FUN DAMMIT!

Seriously.

Somewhere between the long days, difficult conversations, community projects, fundraisers, bus rides, group texts, and countless cups of coffee, we became friends. We laughed a lot. We supported one another. We showed up for one another. And we discovered that meaningful work and having fun are not mutually exclusive.

To the next Leadership Stockton cohort: jump in with both feet. Be curious. Ask questions. Build relationships. Challenge yourself. Say yes to opportunities that make you uncomfortable. Learn from everyone you meet.

And don’t forget to have some fun along the way.

Thank you, Stockton, for allowing us to learn from you, serve alongside you, and grow with you.

With gratitude,

Leadership Stockton Class of 2026

Accountable. Humble. Growing. Full of Grace.

And still fun, dammit.
